Wander and Travel to..WAN CHAI’S SAIGONESE GRILLHOUSE, LE GARÇON SAIGON

Le Garçon Saigon has been shining a light on the Saigonese culture of grilling, an underrepresented culinary genre, since 2015.

From leisurely lunches to suppers, or drinks on the patio, Michelin-recommended Le Garçon Saigon’s grill-focused menu of fresh and vibrant Saigonese cuisine has been charming guests since day one. To mark five years, Le Garçon Saigon is celebrating for the entire month of November and bringing back five signature specials of some of its most-desired dishes.

From 1 November, stop by and relive some of your most-loved meals or experience, for the first time, the dishes that lent themselves to establishing Le Garçon Saigon as a neighbourhood favourite. Go back to the very beginning and dine on classics including Bánh Xèo ($198), a crispy Vietnamese pancake filled with lap cheong, prawns, mung beans and bean sprouts, and Wagyu Beef Skewers ($238) served alongside bánh hoi and peanut sauce, or the famous Tiger Prawns ($168) drizzled with tomato beurre noisette.

The much-adored Condensed Milk Flan ($88) will also return for the month to end this show-stopping menu in style. For the full line-up, please see here

Never one to miss out, Le Petit Saigon, little brother and next-door neighbour to Le Garçon Saigon, is joining in the celebrations with a special Bánh Mì Du Monde available all through November. Chef Theign Yie Phan has created a Spicy Pork & Prawn Sausage Bánh Mì ($108), inspired by a pork meatball bánh mì she still craves from her travels in Saigon. Putting her own twist on the classic, she has elevated the bánh mì from her memory by adding prawns, smoked chilli sauce, shallots, rau ram, tangy pickles and dill.

Reservations for Le Garçon Saigon can be made for both lunch and dinner here
