Zuma will be celebrating Chinese New Year with its signature twist on Japanese izakaya cuisine. The restaurant offers a rich selection of dishes that bring you good fortune and prosperity, such as Roasted lobster with garlic, shiso and ponzu to symbolise life and good luck; Chilean sea bass with green chili ginger dressing to wish you an abundance for the upcoming year. Last but not east, Robata grilled ribeye steak with wafu sauce and garlic crisps to usher the Year of the Ox.
Valentine’s Day Tasting Menu to make it memorable
To celebrate the most romantic day of the year, Zuma will present a sumptuous Valentine’s Day Tasting Menu (HKD1,480 per person) on 14 February for you to impress your significant other. Created by Asia’s corporate executive chef Oscar Luzon de Arcos, the highlights of the romantic gastronomic menu include Sea urchin, caviar and yellowtail ceviche with tentsuyu jelly, Langoustine tempura with kataifi and sour dashi and Premium Japanese Miyazaki wagyu sirloin with Périgord black truffle. For the grand finale, head pastry chef Eddy Lee has prepared Warm raspberry chocolate cake with Tahitian vanilla and fromage bon bon (also available on a la carte, priced at HKD 220) to end the night on a high.
If dining-out is not an option for this year, Zuma promises to bring the romance to your home with a luxurious Valentine’s Day Takeaway Tasting Menu, highlights include Spicy Crab Soup with Clams Mitsuba and Yuzu Skin, Japanese Wagyu Tataki with Truffle Ponzu, Toro Maki with Chili Tenkasu and Yuzu Pearls and Miso Marinated Black Cod Wrapped in Hoba Leaf. The menu is priced at HKD 1,800 for two persons, perfectly complemented with a bottle of Ruinart champagne at a special price of HKD 300.
For those planning to impress their lovers with a sweet treat, the restaurant presents its iconic Special Chocolate, Caramel and Almond Praline for them to preparein the comfort of their own kitchens. The cake will be prepped and packed by Zuma’s culinary team, alongside simple instructions for guests to bake and assemble.
