Wanchai Flagship Store Offers Freshly Baked Mooncakes

Kee Wah’s flagship store in Wan Chai offers an open kitchen where a variety of Hong Kong cakes are baked fresh every day. Recommendations on how best to enjoy and warm up mooncakes at home

Heat the Custard Mooncake or Yogurt Custard mooncakes in an air fryer at 160°C for about 3-4 minutes, or put it in the oven at 150°C for about 10 minutes. Please note baking times may vary depending on your oven. Allow to cool for 1-2 minutes. These steps should allow for a beautiful golden crust with the right bite and a soft, gooey custard centre. 

Alternatively, the mooncakes may also be warmed in the microwave for about 20 seconds.
