Now Open: The Grounds at AIA Vitality Park

The Grounds at AIA Vitality Park (The Grounds) is officially open to the public, adopting the ‘new normal’ of socialising responsibly with its innovative, socially distanced entertainment offering. As the first entertainment and recreational space in Hong Kong purpose-built for the era of COVID-19, The Grounds provides visitors a responsible environment to be entertained safely within socially distanced private pods enclosed with friendly garden picket fences. With a full schedule of interactive programming along with a variety of food and beverage options, The Grounds welcomes guests into an environment where they can enjoy a unique outdoor experience safely and comfortably.

To ensure a well-rounded experience, The Grounds features a wide variety of family-focused activities, wellness and fitness sessions, live music and more.

Food and beverage offerings in the palm of your hand

Through a seamless mobile ordering system, a range of culinary options are available at The Grounds thanks to a collaboration with BaseHall. From tacos, gourmet burgers, authentic Vietnamese to contemporary Korean and even decadent cookies, experience the flavours of Hong Kong’s culinary scene from the comfort of your private pod.

To enjoy an al fresco drink in the heart of the city, kick back and delight in The Grounds’ unique outdoor offering with a drink in hand. Featuring cocktails, beers, wine, coffee, juice and more, the bar offers something for guests of all ages. Official wine partner Penfolds Max’s offers seven signature red and white wines that showcase the origins and grape varieties of South Australia – including the Penfolds Max’s series that pays tribute to the legendary former Chief Winemaker Max Shubert – available both by the glass and by the bottle.

An exciting schedule, updated weekly

The programming schedule of responsible, socially distant events is updated on a weekly basis with tickets available for purchase online. Pods are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis in either two-person or four-person options. Complete with a high-tech stage, an enormous LED screen and a state-of-the-art sound system, The Grounds ensures a quality entertainment experience for all.

The jam-packed schedule includes an exciting line-up of movies, Rugby Fanzone live broadcasts of thrilling matches, and live mini-festivals curated for Hong Kong music lovers featuring local artists from various musical styles to bands performing well-known tunes for a classic sing-a-long.

Experiences for the whole family

The Grounds’ family-friendly activities are the perfect respite for children of all ages. Enjoy family game night with classic life-sized Jenga, and stay tuned to the schedule for age-appropriate movies played on the big screen for an outdoor cinema experience complete with popcorn, ice cream and cookies.

Wellness and fitness take centre stage

For those craving outdoor wellness and fitness activities and the chance to escape the confines of home workouts, The Grounds offers a brand new socially distanced experience. On the weekend, yoga sessions with lululemon’s Hong Kong ambassadors allow guests a grounding yet revitalising wellness session in the comfort of their own pod. Sales from lululemon’s events will be donated to a dedicated charity or organisation that drives community support work.

The Grounds will also play host to Hong Kong’s largest fitness and wellness festival with a special edition of IRIS, “IRIS at The Grounds”, from 27 to 29 November. Participate in three days of specially curated wellness adventures from the city’s top instructors like Siena T, Utah Lee and Trixie Isla-Velez along with curated healthy eats.

Space to play, room to breathe

In addition to bolstering the hospitality and entertainment industries in Hong Kong, The Grounds is the city’s first designated COVID-19 designed space catered for guests who wish to be social yet safe at the same time. Equipped with RAZE’s self-sanitising technology, The Grounds prioritises the health and safety of both guests and staff. All visitors must complete a health and travel declaration when purchasing tickets. Along with temperature checks, hand sanitisers at each entry and exit point, guests are also required to wear a mask when moving through the venue. With contactless ordering and socially distanced pods that are cleaned thoroughly in between sessions, The Grounds ensures hygiene protocols are strictly adhered to.
